The Benefits of our Crew Insurance Policy

For over 20 years, AFA Assurances and GENERALI have been offering insurance policies that provide social welfare cover for professional crews on yachts and motor boats. 

Our policies have been designed to meet all requirements according to the yacht’s flag, registering sailors with ENIM (seafarers’ social security), and ensuring that owners have protection and indemnities cover. 

Our policy can be taken out:

- For a whole crew or individually,

- For the year or temporarily (1 month minimum). 

No medical questionnaire

We offer you: 

Reimbursement of medical expenses in the event of accident or illness: 

Benefits :

Cover 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, whether at work or not, on holidays or during the weekend. Cover with no excess : you are reimbursed from the first euro spent. A fixed, lump sum payment for dental and optical care (frame and lenses) for any reason. Assistance abroad in the event of hospitalization without advancing medical expenses.  An individual reimbursement card.

Contingency cover:

Benefits :

100% of your salary guaranteed if unable to work because of illness (7 days excess), accident or hospitalization (no excess).  An accidental death benefit to protect your next of kin: two years’ salary up to 150,000 euros.  An accidental disability benefit to protect you: two years’ salary.

 

Repatriation insurance guaranteed by the world-wide Europ Assistance network in the event of accident or illness of a crew member.
