The Benefits of our Pleasure Boating Policy

New for old cover for 5 years: For craft that are less than 5 years old, we guarantee reimbursement on the basis of the new value of your boat. (Without exceeding the value defined in the Special Conditions of your policy.)

Possibility of agreed value cover: For craft that are more than 3 years old, we guarantee the insured value for three years. (Subject to a recent CESAM expert report, testifying to the boat’s good condition and its value).

No depreciation on a partial damage claim: For boats less than 5 years old, if partially damaged, you will be reimbursed without any depreciation being applied.

50% reduction of the excess for each no-claim year: After the second year of your insurance policy, no excess will be required in the event of a partial damage claim.

No excess: For a claim for total loss or theft, or for a claim for the theft of your tender dinghy engine

Guaranteed in all circumstances: In or out of water, during land transit and dock handling.

A very extensive Navigation Zone:

- North limit: 65° latitude North

- South limit: 20° latitude North

- East limit: 40° longitude East

- West limit: 35° longitude West

Full Civil Responsibility Insurance: 8,000,000 Euros for both physical and material injury, with 4,600,000 Euros for solely material damages.

Individual marine insurance: According to the number of persons on board, we indemnify the passengers and the skipper in the event of death or permanent disability and take care of medical expenses.

Assistance guarantee: We can repatriate persons on board, or send a skipper or a technician and any spare parts if required.
